Using it
Is it hard to set up?
No. Plug the USB cable into any socket, stand it on a table or shelf, tilt it towards the ceiling, and switch it on. That's the whole thing — no app, no pairing, no mounting, nothing to configure.
How do I control it?
You don't, beyond switching it on. There is no remote and no app — it runs its pattern on its own. What you choose is the pattern, and you choose it when you order, not afterwards.
Does it work with the lights on?
No — and this is the honest one. The projector puts out under 60 lumens, which is deliberately soft. In a dark or dimly lit room it fills the ceiling beautifully. With the main light on you will barely see it. Evening, curtains drawn, is what it's built for.
How big an area does it cover?
It depends entirely on distance. Set close to a surface you get a tight, bright pattern; further back spreads it across a whole ceiling but softer. A normal living room or bedroom ceiling is comfortably within range. Move it around for a minute and you'll find the spot you like.
Does it work outdoors?
No. It's an indoor light with no weather rating — keep it out of rain, snow and damp ground. If you want it visible through a window, stand it inside and aim it at the glass.
What surface should I point it at?
A plain, pale ceiling or wall shows the pattern best. Busy wallpaper, dark paint or a textured surface will fight it.
The hardware
What powers it?
A standard 5V USB connection — a wall plug, a power bank or a laptop port all work. There are no batteries to buy or replace.
What is it made of, and is it certified?
An ABS plastic body, CE-marked under EMC and RoHS — the European standards for electrical interference and restricted hazardous substances.
Can I leave it running all evening?
Yes. It runs for as long as it's plugged in. There is no timer, so switch it off at the socket when you're done.
Is it only for Christmas?
Most people bring it out in December, but nothing about the hardware is seasonal. It works as a night light in a child's room or as party lighting any time of year.
Ordering
How long does shipping take?
Shipping is free worldwide. We get orders out within 1–2 business days, and delivery usually takes 1–2 weeks depending on where you are.
I need it before Christmas. Will it make it?
Order with time to spare rather than in the last week of December — delivery can take up to two weeks. If a specific date matters, email us before you order and we'll tell you honestly whether it's realistic.
Can I order different patterns in one order?
Yes. Choose two or more on the product page and you can set the pattern for each one separately. The multi-buy discount applies either way.
Do the multi-packs really cost less?
Yes. Two units take 15% off, three take 25%, four take 32%. The discount applies automatically at checkout — there's no code to enter.
What if I don't love it?
You have 30 days from receiving it to request a return, and in the EU a 14-day right to cancel for any reason at all. Email us to start. If you've simply changed your mind you cover the return postage; if it's faulty or not what you ordered, we do.
It arrived damaged. Now what?
Send us a photo and your order number and we'll arrange a replacement or a refund, postage on us.
